Hi, I’m Deana—the creative mind and meticulous planner behind d2 events!

Born and raised in Michigan, my journey into the world of events started with my passion for design. I studied Fashion Design in New York, where I worked at New York Fashion Week and even launched my own line, d2, hosting fashion shows back home in Michigan. It was during those shows that I fell in love with the magic of planning and coordinating events.

Fast forward, and my knack for organization (hello, type A personality!) combined with my love for creativity drew me into the world of weddings and large-scale events. From designing my sister’s wedding dress to orchestrating events for presidents and foreign dignitaries, I thrive on being two steps ahead, making sure every detail is perfectly in place.

At d2 events, I wear many hats:

Event Planner: Fueled by my love for to-do lists and timelines, I make sure your big day is stress-free.

Event Designer: Whether it’s flowers, tablescapes, or custom backdrops, I pour my creativity into making your vision come to life.

Event Coordinator: I’m in my element leading timelines, organizing bridal parties, and ensuring every moment runs like clockwork.

My favorite part of any event? Seeing the look on my clients’ faces when their vision becomes reality—those smiles make it all worth it!

When I’m not planning events, you’ll find me rocking my signature black wardrobe (even though I love color!), tackling my never-ending to-do list, or dreaming up new ways to make life’s celebrations extraordinary.
